  2. 1st: balance: the distance between lines gives the piece consistency, their slight disarray makes them dynamic. It is centered and closed, the "broken circle" motif unifies it.
    2nd: Taalia uses symmetry and centeredness to unify the piece to the point where some dynamism is lost. Closed.
    3rd: Diagonal, thin and thick lines are dynamic, eye naturally flows along piece, closed. Taalia tried piece without diagonal theme and decided it was too flat.
    4. clear focal point in center, negative space triangles add movement, and background of consistent lines enforces unity and removes depth
